Walkfit Manila

Not everyone can be a writer, but almost everyone wants to write--and especially to blog. Many want to do a blog but they don't because they say they're not writers. I always tell them you don't have to be a writer to blog. As long as you have an info-story to share, you can blog. And thus, Walkfit Manila.

I'm not so much a writer as I am a blogger. More preferably, I'm a fitness buff who brisk-walks a lot with my wife around Manila, the nearby provinces, and hopefully other parts of the Philippines. And I want to post here everything I discover. This can be a Philippine tourism blog to others, but it's just a hobby to me. And since I'm fond of taking pictures of places, scenes, people, food, clothes, and the environment, I want to share them here as well.

Info-story, I'll tell you about this later--or rather show you through my posts--in another article perhaps. For now, I'd like to tell you about how I and my wife love the idea to walk-fit Manila hitting two birds with one stone--exercise and sightseeing. And you can probably start doing your walk-fit adventures right in your own locality, too. I'll tell you tips on how to do it, especially safely.

I've been a dedicated fitness buff since grade 7, through highschool and college and through the years I was employed, and now that I'm a freelance writer, network marketer, martial arts instructor, and bible teacher. I love brisk walking around, jogging, climbing up and down highway footbridges and mall stairs, doing push-ups and pull-ups now and then, eating healthy, relaxing, and taking health supplements. I'll tackle all these here on Walkfit Manila.

If you're an expat missing Manila or a foreigner wondering what Manila is all about, thinking where to dine, what hotel to stay in, places to visit, and what to expect, visit here often. You might get a tip or two.
